Agency Board

The Redevelopment Agency (RDA) is a distinct political body that is
totally separate from the City. As is the case with most California
cities, the City Council agreed to become the Agency Board, and
employs City staff to manage its operations. This provides a cost
savings to the RDA since the same officers and staff are used for
both the City and the RDA.
It is important to remember that the RDA and the City are separate agencies with separate laws, separate budgets and separate funding sources.
