Created in 1992 by the Redevelopment Agency (RDA) (Res
No. 4-92; 5-92; 6-05), the "Advisory Redevelopment Commission"
assists the RDA in an advisory capacity.
The Advisory Redevelopment Commission's purpose is to:

Develop and recommend to the Agency a long-term plan for the
Project Area, and review the annual work program to implement
the plan.

Develop and recommend to the Agency a plan for utilization
of funds for low and moderate income housing.

Review other policy issues, such as design guidelines for
future private and public development, related to the
implementation of the Redevelopment Plan.

Foster citizen, resident and business involvement in the
Redevelopment Project and its planning process.
Eleven Commissioners
are appointed by the RDA to serve four-year staggered terms. The
Commission normally convenes on the first Wednesday of each month.
