Incentive Programs

The prime incentive available to the residents and business community of a redevelopment area is the mitigated risk assumed by the Agency.  Taking on blighted areas, cleaning up contaminated land, investing in public improvements and projects all reduce the risk of others investing in the community.
 
In addition, the Agency partners with the City of Modesto and other agencies and their incentive programs as they fall within the boundaries of the redevelopment project area. 

The following incentives are available, and must be carefully read to see how they apply:

Stanislaus Enterprise Zone

Offers sale/use tax credits, hiring credits, and other financial incentives.

CFF Deferrals

Defers Capital Facility Fees for industrial buildings.
