STREETSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS

In February 2006, after a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP), Architecture Plus, Inc. was selected to create a concept plan for streetscape improvements along 10th Street between J Street and S. Morton Boulevard, and I Street between 6th Street and Downey Avenue.  This streetscape will include both sides of 10th Street and I Street, and will include the radius at each street corner.

 

The Concept Plan will utilize the Downtown Modesto Streetscape Standard Specifications and will include all elements of the specifications, including streetscape hardware and landscaping. Actual construction documents of the streetscape will be carried out in Phase II of the Modesto Downtown Streetscape project through an additional RFP at a later date, and also applied as future development occurs.
